Lingtam is located in East Sikkim District of Sikkim. It is perched at an altitude of 4,353 ft above sea level. Lingtam Monastery, one of the major monasteries is the state, is the prime attraction here.
Lingtam is about 20 km south-east of Gangtok and is 2 km north-east of Rongli.
