Lying to the north-east of
Leh, Lhabap is a small settlement in
Leh District of
Jammu and Kashmir. It is about 30 km from
Thiksey and is positioned at a height of 11,335 ft above sea level. Khardung lies to the west of Lhabap whereas
Shyok is to the east.
Zingral is within a short distance from here.
One can reach Lhabap by private vehicles from Leh (27 km), on the road leading to Rongdu (11 km).
