Legislative Assembly

Legislative Assembly is an imposing edifice, located within the premises of Public Gardens, in Hyderabad. Formerly the Hyderabad State Town Hall, it is a fine blend of Rajasthani and Persian architecture.

This beautiful white structure was built in 1913, to mark the 40th birthday of Nizam Mahboob Ali Khan. A 22-feet tall bronze statue of Mahatma Gandhi in a posture of meditation can be seen at the entrance park to the Assembly.
