Laxminarayan Temple




Laxminarayan Temple, on the banks of the Mahanadi River, is located at Shivarinarayan, about 50 km south of Janjgir, in Chhattisgarh. It was built by the kings of Hayhay Vansh in the 11th century. A grand fair is held here during Magh Purnima. Shabari Ashram, believed to have been built during the Ramayana period, is located nearby.
