Laxman Sidh Temple




Laxman Sidh Temple is situated 10 km from Dehradun, close to the Haridwar-Rishikesh highway. It is located at Lachhiwala Forest in Siwalik Range. The Suswa River flows near the shrine. It is believed that a saint named Lakshman Sidh did penance here and the temple was later built in his memory. A large number of devotees visit this temple on Sundays. Every Sunday, the temple is the venue of the Laxman Sidhha Fair. Sahasradhara Waterfalls, Robbers Cave, Forest Research Institute, Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple, Harawala and Malsi Deer Park are nearby. The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport. The nearest railway station is at Dehradun.
