Law's Falls is a glittering waterfall situated about 7 km from
Coonoor, in
Nilgiris District of
Tamil Nadu. It is located on the
Mettupalayam Road, branching off at the Wenlock Bridge. The water which plunges from a height of 180 ft offers the most scintillating of the sights.
The waterfall is named after Col. G V Law who completed the construction of the present day Ghat road to Mettupalayam in 1871. This charming picnic spot commands panoramic views of the surrounding plains.
