Lateri is a small town located 110 km north-west of
Vidisha in
Madhya Pradesh.
An old monument dedicated to the eighth Jain Teerthankar is the nearby attraction. The town is situated close to Sironj, a place famous for Calicos and Muslin.
Regular buses connect Lateri with Vidisha and Sironj. Kurwai-Kethora Railway Station on the Bhopal-Bina main line of Central Railways is the closest railhead.
