Perched at an altitude of 4,750 m above sea level, Langtang Chu is a small village in
Leh District of
Jammu and Kashmir. It is an ideal campsite for trekkers and mountaineers. Various trekking routes such as Jumlam -
Zanskar trek and
Hemis –
Darcha trek pass through this place. The view of
Mount Kangyaze from here is stunning.
Langtang Chu can be reached from Nimaling and Yakrupal. From Sorra, a journey through the Zalung Karpo La leads towards this village.
