Lamta

Lamta is one of the prominent towns in Balaghat District of Madhya Pradesh. It lies about 60 km north of Balaghat.

Major attraction is the Dhuti Dam. Kanha National Park, Rampaily Temple and Gangulpara Waterfall are of tourist interest.

The nearest airport is at Nagpur. Balaghat Railway Station serves Lamta.
