Lalung Monastery is one of the oldest monasteries in the
Lingti Valley of
Himachal Pradesh. It is located at
Lalung.
A temple dedicated to a female goddesses of Buddhism with about 51 deities can be found in the monastery. Most of the images are painted in gold. It is said that this is the only temple in the entire world where one can see the sculpture of Lord Brahma in three dimensions.
