Lalharhi Folk Dance




Lalharhi is a folk dance performed by unmarried women during fairs and wedding ceremonies in Kullu District of Himachal Pradesh. It is accompanied by songs and musical instruments are not played during the dance.

The performers stand in two rows facing each other, and one of the rows starts singing and dancing and then moves towards the other row. After that, they return to their positions, and the other row performs in the same way.
