Lakulisa Temple




Lakulisa Temple is an ancient shrine situated on the Pavagadh Hill of Panchmahals District, Gujarat. Built on the edge of Chasiya Talao, it is only surviving temple from the Rajputs era. The temple is named after Lord Shiva who was worshipped here as Bhairav. The sculptural style of the temple indicates that the temple has been built between 10the and 12th centuries. Nowadays no worship services are held in the temple.
