Lakshman Babhuka

Lakshman Babhuka is a small stream in Kelwara. Legend says that this stream sprouted from the ground where Lakshman shot an arrow to fetch water for Sita. People visit kunds (tanks) around the stream to take a holy dip for the purification of the body and to offer oblations to the various idols installed. The biggest water tank is called ‘Lakshman kund’ with a gate by name ‘Lakshman darwaza.'

Baran Railway Station is 75 km from Kelwara.
