Located in Etawah District, Lakhna is a small town midway between Bharthana and Sahson and on the right bank of the Bhognipur canal. It is 3 km to the south of Etawah-Auraiya Road.
Lakhna, with a population of 5,320, occupies an area of about 1 sq km. It served as a taluk headquarters till 1863. The town has all urban facilities such as hospital, schools and a family planning center.
