Lakha Mandal Temple

Lakha Mandal Temple is situated at the center of the Lakha Mandal village in Dehradun District. It is dedicated to Shakti and Lord Shiva. Within the temple complex lies two life size stone statues which seem to be Dwarapals of a much older temple. But these statues are said to be those of Bhima and Arjuna. It is auspicious to visit the temple during the local Diwali which is held one month after the Diwali in the plains.

Lakha Mandal is directly connected with Dehradun by road. It is 75 km from Mussoorie and 125 km from Dehradun. The nearest railway station and airport are at Dehradun.
