Ladakh Sarai, situated in
Leh District, is an ideal base to explore Ladakh’s ancient Buddhist monasteries and the colorful bazaar of Leh. The canvas and bamboo yurts are specially fabricated by hand and retain the characteristics of the original Central Asian and Mongolian architecture.
The yurts have comfortable twin beds, individual bathrooms and sitting area. Hammocks and lounge chairs are available on the lawns and the patio adjoining the dining hall. Ladakh Sarai Yurt Camp also offers treks and jeep safaris into the surrounding mountains. Laundry facilities are available.
It is open from May to October. The nearest airport is Leh airport.
