Lablab




Lablab (Hedera nepalensis) is an evergreen woody climber and it belongs to the family Araliaceae. The plant is extensively distributed in northeastern states of India, especially in Senapati District of Manipur.

Its fruit possess stimulant, diaphoretic, cathartic properties. It is used in febrile disorders. The infusion of berry is valued in rheumatism and gum is emmenagogue. Leaf decoction is used against hair lice.
