Kyrdemkulai Lake was formed by the Stage III of the Umiam Hydel Project in
Ri-Bhoi District. This majestic serene lake is surrounded by sylvan hills and grassy landscapes, which add to its beauty. It serves as one of the pick-up reservoirs of the hydel project and is situated on the lower slopes of the East Khasi Hills. Kyrdemkulai Lake is an idyllic picnic spot and paradise for anglers.
