Kyoto

Kyoto is a picturesque hamlet located 13 km from Pangma in Lahaul and Spiti District, Himachal Pradesh. Lying at an elevation of about 3,850 m, Kyoto offers spectacular views of limestone slopes. The village is situated at the confluences of Takling Nala and Spiti River in Spiti Valley. Nearby tourist destinations include Hasna, Rangrik, Dhankar, Kunzum Pass, Chandra Tal, Attargo, Batal, Kungri Monastery and Kibber Sanctuary. Nearest airport is the Kullu Manali Airport at Bhuntar. Nearest major railway stations are Shimla Railway Station and Joginder Nagar Railway Station . Kyoto is connected to Kaza by road.
