Kutramporutha Nathar Temple is located at Tirukaruppariyalur in
Nagapattinam District. Here
Lord Shiva is known by the name Kutramporutha Nathar. Goddess Kolvaraiyammai accompanies the deity. The
teerthams of the temple are Indra teertham and Surya teertham.
Sambandar and Sundarar are said to have visited this temple. The temple can be reached from Vaitheeswarankoil, Tiruppurugur and Mannippalayam.
