Kusuma Sarovara

Kusuma Sarovara, 460-feet long lake, is the best swimming spot in Braja, which is 2 km from Radhakund. It is believed that this is the place from which the gopis would pick flowers for Krishna.

The ghatas at this kund were built by Jawahir Singh in 1764. The platforms go out 60 feet into the water.

There are three tombs on the upper level of the lake. The main tomb is of Raja Suraj Mall and other tombs are those of his two queens, Kishori and Hansiya. A small Siva Linga temple is on the western bank of the kund.

Ashoka-lata, a kunja (forest grove), is also on the bank of Kusuma Sarovara. This is the spot where Krishna braided Radharani's hair.
