Kusum Vilas Palace




Situated at Chotta Udaipur in the Vadodara District of Gujarat, Kusum Vilas Palace was built in AD 1930 during the rule of H H Maharajah Natwar Sinhji. Now, it serves as a hotel with a restaurant, swimming pool and well-equipped rooms.

Kusum Vilas Palace is a magnificent building with porticoes, courtyards, open grounds and outhouses. The palace is decorated with original French furniture of the Louis XIV style. The building has grand dining and drawing rooms and an old billiards room. It has a grand reception room on the ground floor with large doors, a carved ceiling, French furniture, Belgian mirrors and superb Italian marble statues. The walls are adorned with nice paintings, depicting the picturesque settings of Chotta Udaipur and the former capital Mohan.

Vadodara Junction Railway Station and Vadodara Airport are the nearest railhead and airport respectively.
