Kushiara River




The Kushiara River, which is bifurcated from the Barak River, flows out of Karimganj into Bangladesh. It is the international border that separates Assam and Bangladesh. Karimganj is about 56 km from Silchar.

The total length of the Kushiara is about 161 km and the average width is 250 m. In the rainy season the mean depth reaches up to 10 m.
