Kusheshwar Asthan is a famous religious place, situated about 16 km east of Singhia, in Darbhanga District, Bihar.
A temple dedicated to Lord Shiva dating back to epic periods is the major attraction here. Pilgrims from all over Darbhanga and the neighboring districts visit this year-round pilgrim spot in large numbers.
Kusheshwar Asthan Bird Sanctuary, covering fourteen villages of Kusheshwar Asthan block, has some rare migratory and domestic bird species and hence it is a not-to-miss destination in the state.
Nearest airport is at Patna.
Kusheshwar Asthan is 22 km north-east of Hasanpur Road railway station, which is the nearest railway station. Darbhanga, the district headquarters, is about 51 km north-west.
