Kurinjikavu, an important pilgrim center of the Thiyya community, is located at Thayineri near
Taliparamba of
Kannur District,
Kerala. The temple is located one and a half km north-west of
Payyanur. The presiding deity of Krunjikavu is Poomala Bhagavathy. The annual festival celebrated here is the Kaliyatta Festival. It normally falls during the months of January and February.
