Kurinajal Peak




Kurinajal is one of the scenic peaks in the Western Ghats and is situated within Kudremukh National Park, in Uttara Kannada District of Karnataka. Kurinajal is almost at the same height of Kudremukh, which is about 20 km away.

Kurinjal is enriched with varied species of flora and fauna. An old abandoned UHF receiver station can be found atop the peak. Hanuman Gundi and Sutanabbe Waterfalls are among the points of interest nearby.

Kurinajal can be reached from Kudremukh, from where the journey via Bhagavati forest, Mala village and dense forest in the Western Ghats is alluring and memorable.
