Kunthal Giri




An ideal destination for both pilgrims and adventure enthusiasts, Kunthal Giri is a sacred hill that lies about 50 km from Osmanabad and is considered as an important pilgrim center of the Jains. This is the place where Muni Kulkhushan and Muni Deshbhusan are said to have attained nirvana. There are seven beautiful temples on Kunthal Giri. Apart from this, 4 temples are located at the foot-hills. Among these temples, Bhagwan Bahubali Mandir with its 5.5 m high idol has special significance. Yedasi is about 40 km from here. Accommodation facilities are available at dharamshalas. Aurangabad Airport is the nearest airport.
