Kunnandarkoil Rock Cut Temple




Kunnandarkoil Rock Cut Temple is situated at Kunnandarkoil in Pudukkottai District of Tamil Nadu. The temple belongs to 8th century AD and structural additions of later period have turned it into a big temple complex.

The temple has numerous sculptures and a hundred pillared mandapam. The mandapam is of Vijayanagara style with a design of four-wheeled chariot drawn by a pair of horses. The temple also holds many important inscriptions.
