Kunigal




Kunigal in Tumkur District is around 75 km north-east of Bangalore.

Kunigal is famous for a Jain Temple, dedicated to Bhagvan Parshwanatha. The place is also the site of an oldest and biggest stud farm in India. Yediyur, a pilgrim center, is 30 km from Kunigal.

Nearest airport is at Bangalore. Tumkur Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
