Kundargi




Kundargi is a small village lacated near Bilgi in Bagalkot District of Karnataka. A tamarind tree, whose trunk has a cave opening about 2 sq m, is the prominent attraction of the village.

It is believed that Adviswamy used to meditate here. There is a Kundargi Math across the Markandeya River. On the premises is the Sangameshwar temple built in Chalukya architecture.
