Kund Bara is located in Lahaul and Spiti District and is near the district's border with Chamba. It is around 5 km south of Tindi, a picturesque hamlet located at an altitude of about 2,650 m.

Trilokinath Temple is south and Udaipur is east of Kund Bara.
