Kumdok is a charming village located in the south-eastern part of
Leh District. It is at an elevation of about 15,127 ft above sea level. It is about five kilometers away from
Gaik. Kumdok is surrounded by Kiari in the west,
Kiagi in the east and
Nior Nis in the south. Kumdok River which flows through this place adds to the scenic appeal.
Kumdok is easily approachable from Gaik.
