The Kumara Kundram temple is situated on the outskirts of
Chennai, in
Tamil Nadu. The temple is dedicated to Lord Muruga. Other deities in the temple are Lord Siddhi Vinayak,
Goddess Durga, Goddess Jayamangala Kali and Swaminatha Swami. There are also idols depicting the
Navagrahas (deities representing the nine celestial planets). The festivals celebrated in this temple with ceremonial splendor attracts people in large numbers.
