Kulinagram




Situated to the western part of Mayapur, Kulinagram is a village in Bardhaman District associated with Gaudiya Vaishnava Sect.

It was the home of many historic persons such as Sri Satyaraja Khan, Sri Gunaraja Khan, Sri Sankara, Sri Vidyananda, Sri Ramananda Vasu, Yadunatha, Purusottama, Vidyananda and Sri Radhanath Vasu. The village houses the old palace, fort and temples of Gunaraja Khan - one of the topmost Vaishnavas. The translation of the Tenth and Eleventh Cantos of Srimad Bhagavatam were done him for the better understanding to common people. New Kulinagram Mandir and Lord Jagannatha temple are other attractions.

Jaigram Railway Station, the nearest railhead, is 5 km west of Kulinagram.
