Kuliara is situated in Hooghly District of West Bengal and is about 17 km to the east of Khanakula-Krishnanagar. Champadanga and Chhonapur lies to the north of this town. Rajbalhai to the east and Ranimpur to the south are other nearby locations. The nearest major city is Howrah, about 41 km away.
