Kul Kula Sthan

Kul Kula Sthan is located near Padrauna, on the riverside of the Yamuna in the middle of the dense forests of Dilip Nagar. It is said that the holy spirit of Goddess Mahamaya Kuru Kulla exists here.

A feast is organized every year during Navratri, which draws a large number of devotees. Legend says that during the auspicious event, a tiger used to come and sit beside Devi without harming anyone.

A mystifying phenomenon here is that whenever people tried to build a temple here, all the walls and roof used to collapse the moment the temple construction reached its finality. Therefore even today Chaura is seen in open air.
