Kukdeshwar Temple is located in
Pune District of
Maharashtra. It is about 15 km west of
Junnar and lies on the banks of Kukdi River.
It is one of the twelve sacred Shiva shrines set up by King Jhanjaraj of the Shilahar dynasty. The west facing temple is noted for its sculptures and carvings.
