Kudamaadu Koothan Temple




Kudamaadu Koothan Temple is a Vaishnavite sthalam located at Tiruarimeyavinnagaram in Nagapattinam District. The place is 8 km east of Sirkazhi. Facing the east, the temple has one prakaram and a three-tiered Rajagopuram. The presiding deity is Kudamaadukoothan. There is a separate shrine for Amritaghatavalli. The temple also houses shrines for Rukmini, Satyabhama and Santaanakrishnan, Rama and Aandaal. Tirumangaialwar Mangalasasana utsavam in the month of Thai (January-February) is the main festival. The nearest railway station is at Sirkazhi (8 km). Buses are frequently available from Sirkazhi.
