Krut Kba Dance

Krut Kba is a native agricultural dance of Meghalaya. It involves a group of men and women demonstrating their farming work in an artistic manner. Each performer holds a hoe with which he/she performs a series of movements. The hoe is hit on the ground gently and then raised again in a rhythmic manner. These dance movements are accompanied by instrumental music and traditional songs.
