Krishnamurti Foundation India, a religious, charitable and educational institution located at Vasanta Vihar in Chennai, was founded in 1928. The institution mainly preserves and publishes the teachings of the renowned thinker and philosopher, J Krishnamurti. It produces and collects books, audio and videotapes on the life, work and vision of Krishnamurti. It also has a reading room and a library.
The Foundation runs seven schools in India. The center arranges video shows and exhibitions at various religious and educational institutions. It is open on all days except Mondays.
