Kottappuram




Kottappuram is a mud fort built by the Nileshwar Rajas. It is situated in Kasargod, on the banks of Chandragiri River. The fort was later annexed by Bednore Nayaks in the 18th century. A Juma Masjid and a Hindu shrine are located nearby. Kasargod Railway Station is just 3 km from the Kasargod town center.
