The major temples in
Alappuzha, Kottamkulangara Mahavishnu and Devi Temple are located in the Mahavishnu Temple compound. The temples have two flag masts and have two festival seasons. The festival season of Mahavishnu temple is in January and that of the Devi temple in March.
