Kother Tank is located at Kother in Anantnag District, Jammu and Kashmir. This tank was constructed by King Bhoja of Malva. This circular tank, also known as Papasudana tirth, was built using heaps of gold. The tank can be reached by a flight of steps flanked by side-walls. There are two small temples nearby which also belong to the same period.
This beautiful spot can be accessed from Acchabal, on the Acchabal-Kashtwar road. The nearest railhead is Jammu Tawi Railway Station and the airport is Srinagar Airport.
