Koppal Parshwanath Basadi




Koppal Parshwanath Basadi is a simple structure situated at Koppal taluk in Koppal District of Karnataka, about 3 km from the local bus stand at the foothills. It is an ancient Jain temple which enshrines a 3 ft high idol of Bhagvan Parshwanatha in the Kayotsarga posture. A choubisi with Bhagvan Rishabdev in the center is also preserved in this temple. Other nearby Jain temples are Bahadur Basadi, Maadnoor Basadi and a cave temple near Sidhheshwar Mutt.

As a district center, Koppal has good boarding and lodging facilities. It has a railway station. The nearest airport is at Bangalore.
