Kongad

Kongad is a town in Palakkad District and is 20 km north-west of Palakkad town.

Kongad Thirumandhamkunnu Bhagavathy Kshetram is the major attraction. Nearby towns include Karimpuzha (Karimbula) in the west, Mannarakkad and Attappady in the north, Mundur in the east and Lakkidi and Mankara in the south.
