Kondapaka




Kondapaka village lies at a distance of 12 km from Siddipet in Medak District. This village is renowned for ancient temples.

Mahaleshwara, a picturesque hillock, is to the south-west of Kondapaka. Major points of attraction are two old Shiva temples. These 10 ft temples are bounded by huge stone masonry walls. Kondapaka is a pilgrim site for both the Shaivites and Vaishnavites. Mahalinga, a huge shivling installed in Mahaleshwara Temple, and the Rama Temple draw a large number of devotees. The shivling found here is believed to have been brought from Kashi. Koti Lingeshwara Swamy Temple is the nearby attraction. Hyderabad Airport is the nearest airport.
