Koilwar, in
Bhojpur District of
Bihar, is a pretty, upcoming town along the western banks of the
Son River. Also spelt as Koelwar, it is about 10 km east of
Arrah -the district headquarters.
National Highway 30, extending from
Bakhtiyarpur to Mohania, runs close to the town.
Koilwar Bridge, across the Son, plays a vital role in the development of the town.
Ideal destinations for pilgrims include Ara Jain Temple and Aranya Devi Temple. A trip to

Patna Airport, nearly 50 km east, is the nearest airport. Koilwar Railway Station, on Patna-
Buxar rail route, is the nearest railway access point.
