Koduvayur




Koduvayur is a village in Palakkad District of Kerala. It is 10 km south-west of Palakkad.

Sree Krishna Temple, Sree Viswanatha Swamy Temple and Sree Ganapathy Temple are the major shrines in Kudavayur. According to legends, the Shivling found in Viswanatha Temple has been brought from Kasi (Varanasi). A major draw is Ratholsavam, which is conducted during Thiruvathira Festival.

Surrounding places include Pazhambalakode to the west, Chittur to the east and Vamballur to the south-west. Palakkad Junction Railway Station and C A Coimbatore Airport are the nearest access points.
