Kintur is situated around two to three miles east of Badosarai. Earlier, this place was known as Kuntapur. It is named after
Kunti, wife of
Pandu and mother of
Karna and the
Pandavas. The famous Kunteshwar Temple - dedicated to
Lord Shiva - is located here.
