Killpua Dance




Killpua Dance is a traditional dance form performed by the Garo tribes of Tripura. It is usually organized in Chaitra Baisakh month of Bengali calendar. Before the dance an animal is sacrificed in the name of the deity of crop. Sowing of cotton seeds is depicted through the dancing gestures.
